“Mathias!” You called, your voice echoing through the wooden hallways of the small home you shared. You didn’t hear a response. You growled with annoyance. “MATHIAS!” You yelled, raising your voice. Still no response. This caused you to hop out of your comfortable bed, and march down the cold hallways of your home. You managed to stomp extremely hard, just to make yourself known. Soon enough, you reached your boyfriend’s room. His door was shut. Your hand wrapped around the doorknob and wiggled it back and forth rapidly. It was locked. This is unusual. You thought to yourself, staring at the firmly locked door with a quizzical look on your delicate face. Luckily, this door could easily be opened with a safety pin, bobby pin, paper clip, et cetera. Though you really didn’t want to drag yourself all the way into the kitchen to find one. Luckily, a glimmer of silver caught your eye. Your head naturally gravitated upwards, to where you first noticed the glimmer. Ah! His key! You congratulated yourself mentally. The party in your head quickly came to a halt, however, as you realized something. The key was placed on the top of the frame of Mathias’s door… You couldn’t reach it. “You’ve got to be kidding me…” You grumbling, your palm coming in contact with your forehead. Oh… there’s an easy solution to that. You mused, a smirk playing across your (l/c) lips.
You swiveled on your bare heels, your shimmering (e/c) eyes studying the plush red chair in the corner of the hallway. Seems sturdy enough… You had quickly formed a plan, and was going to play it out, no matter what. You grabbed the velvety chair and swiftly pulled it in front of the door, the wooden legs squealing across the floor. You smirked confidently before climbing on top of the chair’s body. You frowned when you realized you STILL weren’t tall enough to reach the key. So you did what came naturally to you; raised yourself onto your tip toes. Your arm reached for the key. You could feel the muscles in your arms and legs straining. At this moment, you believed it would have been a much better idea to simply go into the kitchen and grab a safety pin out of the cabinet. You swayed back and forth, losing your balance for only a moment. Your wide eyes quickly softened however, once you regained your balance. You nervously bit your bottom lip as you got back into action. A large grin graced your lips as you felt your fingers brush against the cold silver. Almost there! You were just about to grab the key, when the door swung open, sending you flying forward, your arms flailing in circles. You squeezed your (e/c) eyes shut, preparing for impact. Instead, you found yourself pulled into a hug, strong arms wrapped around your waist. Your face instantly heated up as an amused laugh exited the mouth of the blonde Dane that had you wrapped in a warm embrace. “Wow (name!) You really are my angel, falling from the sky and all.” You huffed angrily and growled under your breath. “You’re so mean, Mathias! Why was your door locked?” You whined, peering up at your boyfriend. “I did it on purpose. I put the key there on purpose too.” He sniggered. “You’re so short, and I knew you would try to get the key any way possible.”
You let out an angry gasp. “That’s so nasty, Mathias!” You shrieked, softly punching him in the gut. “You punch like a girl!” He remarked. His statement was hard to understand, due to the snickers laced in between the words, but you understood nonetheless. “Why do you tease me so mu-“ You couldn’t finish your statement before you found yourself locked in a passionate kiss with your goofy Dane.
He was silly and mean,
But he was yours.
